A significant part of this Directorate consists of the engagements in constructing and conducting customised training programmes for different departments.The Directorate is actively pursuing / encouraging Departments to indicate their specific training needs relevant to the functions of the Department at large and organizing need-based training for different departments. The aim of these trainings is to address the specific requirements and provide them with suitable development interventions and strategic solutions. The training modules for these programmes are designed in close association with the concerned Department to ensure value added delivery. In the previous years, the Directorate organised such trainings for various departments like:-

  • Online Induction Training of Naib Tehsildar and Patwaris for DDA.
  • Training on techniques of mediation for DTC.
  • Orientation workshop in conduct of departmental proceedings for empanelled inquiringauthorities for Directorate of Vigilance.
  • Five days Certificate Course on Vigilance Matters for Directorate of Vigilance.
  • Training on E-Office for Home Department.
  • Training of Inspecting Officers for the promotion to the post of Jr. Staff Officer of Civil Defence
  • Training programme of the portal ‘Single Window System for payment to Govt. Counsels’ of various Departments
  • Hands-on Training on eOffice to all the departments of Govt. of NCT of Delhi
  • Training on reservation in promotion to PwDs & SC/ST for the officers/officials working in DTC
  • Training on eRevenue Court System for the DMs/ADMs/SDMs
  • Training on Disciplinary Proceedings in respect of Inquiry Authority
  • Training of newly appointed Sub-Registrars on Applicable Acts
  • Hands-on Training on MPCDSR Portal for Health & Family Welfare Deptt.
  • Refresher Training for newly posted officials of Weight & Measurement Deptt.
  • Special drive for the officers/officials of Accounts/DASS Cadre deployed for essential Secretariat work in Pr. Accounts Office

These courses received enthusiastic response and positive feedback. Both the participants and the Departments appreciated this initiative, as the knowledge provided therein was required for improving the participant’s immediate administrative functioning needs. Trainings on domain specific topics are organised according to the mutual convenience and specific requirements of the Department concerned and the Directorate. This initiative of the Directorate is being continued in the current year as well.
