Expectation from the Faculty

1 It is expected that faculty shall impart training as per the time schedule given in the calendar of training /letter of invitation for particular course
2 It is expected that faculty shall handle the course content as per the level of participants ,which would be indicated in the training circulars to be issued by the Directorate for each course
3 It is expected that course subject shall be researched and contents added with latest developements, knowlwdgw etc. Case studies , wherever essential, shall be included in the format/structure of teaching
4 Directorate of Training may assist the faculty with case studies relating to courses of purely administrative nature. If the subject matter of the course requires self reading by the trainees as follow up for training, a list of references , which may include books , journals and reports, shall be prepared for trainees and participants.
5 It is expected that faculty shall provide learning material to the trainees wherever it is essential for a particular course. Directorate shall provide facilities for copying the CDs/documents/hand outs supplied by the faculty and distribute among trainees /participants.
6 The Directoratye is equipped with interactive boards , computers and projectors. However, faculty may bring there own laptops or CDs or pendrives for prentation of slides for course contents.
7 It is expected that faculty shall  make the training interactive to arouse and sustain curiosity for learning among trainees /participants
8 It is expected that training shall be imparted not only through the usual lecture method, but also with the help of appropriate presentation, exercises and questionnaires, case studies, role plays etc., as per the demand and need of the course subject
9 It may be desirable if the faculty, wherever possible , prepare a small exercise for the training courses to test the general understanding of important concepts of the subject handled by them. The exercise may be objective type with not more than 15 questions. Faculty  would arrange answers to the exercise and hand over to the course coordinators concerned to the functions.
10 The Directorate may deliver the consolidated result of the exercise(which shall be compiled by the course coordinator) and brief feedback report to the faculty in case  any space for improvement is felt
