  Mission
1. To strive for highest standards of in-service/mid -career training for officers/officials of the GNCTD..
2. .To coordinate with both public and private sector for quality inputs on training.
3. To accord equal priority to training for all levels of management.
4. To develop Directorate of Training as a model institution.
   
  Vision
  To enhance knowledge and skills and responsiveness in the officers/officials of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) for citizen centric governance.
   
  Function and Services
  Organize and conduct training programs/refresher courses for all officers/officials of GNCTD including Local/Autonomous Bodies of GNCTD.
  Intuitional Training component followed by Departmental Examination for the Officer Trainees of IAS (AGMUT Cadre)
  Foundational Training Course for DANICS Probationers(2 years)
  Foundational Training Course for entry level officials of DASS and other Cadre
  In Service Training of DASS and Steno Cadre
